Despite the development of dental care for the population, the increase in the number of patients with complaints of increased sensitivity of teeth and roots is growing. In Russia, the hyperesthesia of teeth to one degree or another is 62-68% of the population aged 30-59 years [1].One of the reasons for the occurrence of this pathology is the recession of the gum.A recession is a pathological change in the level of the gum surface relative to the tooth. At certain illnesses of a dental periodontal, and also after unsuccessful orthodontic treatment there is a decrease (recession) of tissues of a gum in area of a neck and a root of a tooth, thus exposed a tooth root.In addition, a dental stone or plaque leads to a gradual displacement of the epithelium; anatomical specificity of the alveolar of the growth; incorrect/inconsistent oral care can exacerbate the recession; mechanical damage; inflammatory processes in the gums and other factors. The disease entails not only aesthetic problems, but also the development of various pathologies: increased sensitivity of enamel, wedge defects, caries and others. At a young age, the disease is relatively rare (approximately 10% of patients). Most often it is in people of middle and old age (up to 95%). In addition to the pain sensations, the gum recession affects the aesthetics of the smile, worsening the appearance of teeth and gums [2].
