Mineral-raw material complex as a basis for social and economic development of the Urals

It is proved that prospects for the development of the Ural region depend on its mineral-raw material resources. Projective estimates on options for development of the mineral-raw material base of the Urals are made: operating, planned, optimum (innovative), and indicators reflecting the role of mineral-raw material complex in social and economic development of regions are defined. Perspective for development hard-rock mineral deposits are singled out.
