Mineral composition of the meat of pigs after the combined application of probiotic "Provagen" and Hotynetsk natural zeolites

The aim of the study was to determine influence of the mineral composition of pork when the diet of young pigs is combined with probiotic "Provagen" and Hotynets natural zeolites. The experiment was carried out in the pig breeding complex "Magnetic+" of the Kursk region with hybrid young pigs (large white × Landras × Durok). Two groups of 25 animals-analogues of 4 months of age were selected. The pigs of the control group received the main diet. The animals of the experimental group in addition to the main diet were fed with probiotic "Provagen" at a dose of 2 kg/t of feed daily for two months during the morning feeding. Also in the evening they received Hotynets natural zeolites at the rate of 3% by weight of dry matter feed. At the beginning and at the end of the experiment the animals of both groups were individually weighed. At the end of the experiment a control slaughter of three animals from each group was carried out to get meat samples (the longest back muscles) to determine in them the content of macro - and microelements. The mineral composition of pig meat was determined by atomic absorption method on the spectrophotometer "Hitachi 180-80" (Japan).
