Mineralogical and isotope geochemistry of gold ore occurrences in Enganepe-Manitanyrd area (Polar Urals)

We present the results of mineralogical, geochemical and isotopic studies of gold-sulphide ore occurrences Verkhneniyayuskoe-2 (Polar zone) and Niyakhoyskoe-2, zones of sulphidation of Dvoynoy area (Manitanyrd Ridge) and Enganepe Ridge in Polar Urals by X-ray microtomography, electron microscopy, X-ray (microprobe), isotopic and ICP-MS-analyses. We determined size, distribution character and composition of gold particles in the ore deposits of Polar Zone Verkhneniyayuskoe-2, isotope composition of sulfur of sulfides in major gold ore objects and their host rocks of Niyayu-Niyakhoysky ore unit and Enganepe Ridge. We considered a question of the sources of sulfur of the sulphides and some parameters of mineralization.
