Mineralogical features of placer titanium ores. New processing technologies

Modern technologies of mineralogical evaluation of the quality of titanium raw focused on its diversity. The methods of technological mineralogy oriented on the monitoring of ore properties and predetermination of the processes and the quality of the expected products are shown. New data on the titanium ores in modern coastal-marine placers on Stradbroke island, Eastern Australia and Pizhma paleoplacer of Middle Timan, Russia and efficient processing technologies are presented.
