Tykotlov ore occurrence is a complex gold-silver polymetallic mineralization. It is localized in the deposits of Tykotlov sequence of Ordovic, which is characterized by quartz-sericite and quartz-chlorite mineral assemblages. In the heavy fraction dominate the minerals of greenstone formation (sometimes up to 81%), magnetite and sulfides. The traditional methods of studying minerals are used as well as precision techniques (electron microscopy, microprobe analysis). Gold presents in almost all samples of sedimentary rocks and bedrock. In gold and sulfide minerals of copper constant presence of silver is marked. With the processes of chemical weathering of Tykotlov ores the development of lead and zinc carbonates is connected. An indicator of gold-silver ores of rocks in Tygotlov area is the zone of copper-sulfide mineralization.
