The world made of splinters: genre metamorphose in Zazubrin's prose

This article deals with two opposite genre modeling tendencies of the Russian prose of the 1920s. On the one hand, monumental forms tend to break down, segregate and warp; on the other hand, smaller prosaic genre forms tend to become extended. Each of these tendеnses is the private expression of the principle genre diffusion of novel form.
