Since the beginning of the 21st century, the investment attractiveness of the art market has significantly increased, due to its possession of certain characteristics that allow investors to consider this variant of asset allocation as the most promising. The article looks at the current state of affairs in the world auction market of works of art over the past few years, the turnover of sales of various auction houses, features and prospects for the development of the Russian art market.
