Worldview as a sociocultural phenomenon

The article studies the essence of the worldview, which is regarded as a multi-faceted sociocultural phenomenon. The worldview as a conception of cosmic universe is involved in one or another form of cognitive activity. The article examines the part of the worldview that is associated with the universe, in which the unknown, the transcendental is gradually formed. The specificity of the worldview as a sociocultural phenomenon manifests itself in the systematic and generalized views, philosophical knowledge, as well as axiological attitude to the world.
