World energy prices - statistics, facts, impact on metallurgy and pipe rolling production

The article considers the market of petroleum products, the prices of which directly affect the cost of production of the pipe-rolling industry, which is strategically important for the Russian Federation. World prices for energy resources are analyzed. The reasons for changes in prices for crude oil, as the most important energy source, are revealed. Their large-scale influence on all economic indicators of the state is indicated. The prices of energy resources on the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange are considered. The analysis of changes in growth rates, production volumes and price dynamics of steel pipes in Russia for 2019-2023 is provided. An option is proposed for a possible way out of the crisis situation for domestic metallurgical production during the period of an unbalanced international situation in the context of increased international sanctions, which will ensure the development of related consumer industries (oil and gas production, petrochemicals, construction, nuclear engineering, energy, etc.).
