M.M. Bakhtin - I.D. Voronin: Moscow meeting in 1974

The article is written on the basis of the personal diary of professor of Mordovian State University I.D. Voronin, which is first introduced into scientific circulation. January 23, 1974 Voronin (at that time the head of the Department of Russian and Foreign Literature of the Philological Faculty of N.P Ogarev Mordovian State University), while on a business trip in Moscow, visited M.M. Bakhtin in his apartment on 43, Krasnoarmeyskaya street. There was held an interesting exchange of views on various pressing issues, primarily on literature, books, writers and scholars. They remembered Saransk, the University, graduate students and all common acquaintances. Voronin’s diary is kept in the funds of the Mordovian Republican United Regional Museum named after him.
