The multidimensionality of geopolitical culture foundations

The author attempts to analyze the historical, philosophical, social, and culturological foundations of the relatively new concept of “geopolitical culture”. The author traces the development of the features of the basic concept of “culture” in its geopolitical transformation. It is proved that at this level all three components of the meaning of culture remain relevant: the meaning of processing and cultivation, the meaning of education and development, the meaning of reverence. Attention is also drawn to the fact that geopolitics sharpens these meanings, with their help allows to detect signs of impending social and political changes, including those of transformational character. Although in the same way, geopolitical culture draws from the common cultural code tools for smoothing out differences, building bridges of intercultural interaction, with the help of which it is possible to establish geopolitical cooperation
