The article deals with the mechanisms of creation of poetic formulas used in the language of faith to introduce the Virgin Mary, as well as with the characteristics of the semantic potential of folklore nominations of the Virgin Mary and the dependence of the analyzed type of nominations on the genre of the folk text.
