According to the results of long-term dynamics of the number of counts is considered a summer population and the level of species diversity of birds of different types of habitats reserve «Basegi» (Middle Urals). Most abundance of birds inhabit the mountain meadows, the greatest number of species recorded in the community of birds indigenous mountain taiga. Derivative forests give primary stations on these indicators. Revealed a similar population dynamics of birds in all types of habitats, but in the forest and meadows, these processes are the most varied; unique relationship with environmental factors could not be determined.
