The article is a review of a collective monograph devoted to the history of the Byzantine intellectual tradition. Tis concludes the brief content of the parts and sections of the book and shows how widely scientists tried to portray Byzantine thought in the multifaceted nature of its manifestations: the pedagogical, humanitarian, scientific, theological and mystical lines are closely intertwined in this review of the heritage of Byzantine intellectuals. Te carefulness of the selection of plots for the monograph demonstrates a high level of scientific research. Te publication is very timely, since the study of the history of Byzantine education at the moment is one of the key directions in foreign and domestic interdisciplinary research. Te book will be of interest to both students and teachers of the history of science, cultural studies, philosophy and theology.
