Mobilization economy in modern Russia: theoretical aspects

The growth of uncertainty in the modern economy makes it necessary to search for effective tools to manage it. Such studies are especially in demand in modern Russia, which is under the blow ofnumerous "packages" of sanctions. The Russian economy, which inherited many economic and administrative institutions of the USSR, has a predisposition to the introduction of the mobilization economy model. The article reveals the essence of this category and the features of the implementation of the mobilization economy model in domestic practice. The possibilities and limitations of the introduction of elements of the mobilization economy and its inherent management mechanisms in modern Russia are shown. The authors conclude that it is expedient to implement a "soft" model of the mobilization economy. But success in its implementation essentially depends on institutional changes focused on the growth of managers' responsibility for the consequences of their economic decisions.
