Model of cross-cultural competence formation of service and tourism specialists

The article is devoted to the problem of cross-cultural competence formation of service and tourism specialists. The author offers a model of cross-cultural competence formation based on the introduction of regional studies materials in the process of foreign language training. The model is based on socio-cultural, activity and regional studies approaches and it is a multilevel composition. The components are included in the model, which reveal its structure. The levels of formed cross-cultural competence have been also identified.
