The model and features of international relations of the cantons of Switzerland

This article classifies the international relations of the cantons of Switzerland through the prism of various criteria, which allowed making a detailed and comprehensive analysis of this problem. To solve this problem, the author studied the history, peculiarities and principles of the formation of the Swiss state, the form and principles of the state structure, the distribution of power between the center and the regions, coordination of international relations of the regions of the state, the powers of the regions in the sphere of international relations, representation of the interests of the regions of states abroad. With the help of these criteria, the model of international cooperation of the Swiss regions is described, and its features are defined.
