Model of crowdsourcing: regulatory functions of a media content generating

The author examines crowdsourcing as firmly included in journalistic practice concept and phenomenon, which makes a change in the relationship between producers and consumers of information. The author evaluates the possibility of crowdsourcing to attract an audience for the involvement in the production of content. Some possible ways of interaction with the audience, based on the analysis of journalistic practice are presented in the form of schemes in the article. Particular attention is given to news journalism, in which the crowdsourcing model is most demanded. The author hypothesizes that close interaction of media and audience in the production of information media products affects the mechanisms for creating and distributing of the content, enhances regulatory functions of the audience, its role in the generation of media content.
