The article analyzes theoretical approaches to the essence of public-private partnership and considers its models and forms. Public-private partnership is a form of cooperation between the state and the private sector aimed at implementing projects in various areas, such as infrastructure, healthcare and education. The relevance of this method lies in the possibility of combining the resources and competencies of both parties to achieve specific goals. The theoretical foundations of the formation and development of PPP are substantiated by the need for efficient use of resources by both the state and business. This approach promotes the distribution of responsibility between the state and the private sector, increases the efficiency of project management and improves the quality of services provided. For the successful functioning of PPP, a transparent legal framework is needed that clearly defines the rights and obligations of the parties, as well as control over the fulfillment of contractual obligations and dispute resolution mechanisms. The main advantage of PPP is its ability to promote the economic development of the country by attracting private investment with minimal use of budgetary resources. This, in turn, opens up opportunities for creating new jobs, modernizing infrastructure and improving the quality of life of the population.
