It is shown that the use of plasma-fuel systems for coal-fired boilers more efficient for combustion of power coal, while reducing harmful emissions. Currently, plasma-fuel systems for oil free boiler start up, the pickup and stabilizing the combustion of pulverized coal flame are installed at the boiler BKZ-420 of Almaty thermal power plant.
