The article discusses the application of the Autodesk Inventor Professional software package to evaluate the strength characteristics of the machine tool and to test its performance on a digital model. The means of dynamic analysis and stress calculations make it possible to study the behavior of products under real conditions, and it is not necessary to study all the options, since when performing the optimization calculation, it is seen how the options affect the product. Calculations are performed by the finite element method after performing dynamic and static analyzes. Having determined the drawbacks of the design in the early design phase, it is possible to significantly improve the quality of the construction of the device.
