Modeling buyer behavior in the construction industry

The scientific article is devoted to modeling the behavior of buyers in the construction industry. In this article, the author presented his own view of the behavior of modern buyers of the construction industry in the Russian Federation. The construction industry, in a difficult “pandemic” period, faced numerous problems associated with a decrease in the purchasing power of consumers, numerous changes in the legislative and regulatory framework of Russia, constant checks by government agencies. Prices for construction services and housing are constantly growing with minimal incomes of the population. The author analyzed statistical data “on the activity of the construction industry”, the commissioning of residential buildings in the Perm region in 2021 based on information from the federal state statistics service and the territorial body of the federal state statistics service in the Perm region. Based on statistical data, a linear trend of housing commissioning until the end of 2021 is built. The object of research is the construction industry of the Russian Federation. The subject of the research is the behavior of buyers in the construction services market. The purpose of the scientific article is to identify patterns in the behavior of buyers in the construction industry and simulate future actions on the basis of the conducted statistical review. Methods of scientific cognition of research materials: in the process of research, the scientific method of cognition of the studied materials, the empirical method of cognition, deduction, analysis, synthesis and modeling were applied. The author of the scientific article connects the prospects of his research with the further development of certain aspects of modeling the construction market and market structures, as well as engineering and materials science, since it is in the Russian Federation that these directions in applied science are actively developing.
