Modeling process assessment and analysis of economic region capabilities

The study highlights topical issues related to the use of various models and methods for assessing and analyzing the region's export potential. The author of the paper identifies factors that influence export potential. It is proposed to divide the export potential into internal and external potential in the analysis process. Particular emphasis is placed on the methodology of quantitative analysis and assessment of export potential. For these purposes, it is recommended to use the gravity model.
