Modeling the process of assembling a car glass

The article is the first to analyze the installation process of automotive glass, taking into account geometry deviations and the resulting unevenness of the formation of a gap around the glass perimeter during assembly. Based on the simulation of the assembly process using CAD / CAE, the formation of residual stresses in the glass is shown, the results are obtained, based on which conclusions can be drawn about the effect of geometry accuracy on the strength of the glass.
