Simulation of thermal processes with a view to improving the technology of bar rolling

Mathematical models are created describing the thermal processes occurring in the deformation focus and process stream of the mill. On this basis the problems of optimization of technological regimes to achieve desired band temperature and eliminate uneven temperature distribution along the strip are solved. Mathematical models of stress-strain state and temperature fields in the deformation focus allow to solve the problem of forecasting defect formation on the finished profile. The measures are proposed to improve existing and develop new technologies and to construct equipment for rolling high-grade sections by modeling thermal processes.
