For the needs of radiotomography of the Earth's surface, the problem of modeling the radiation of the sea surface is considered. The method of parallel cross-sections for modeling the diffraction of electromagnetic radiation on a layer with a periodic surface was implemented as a computer program in the python programming language using the pypar parallel communication library. With the help of this program a number of numerical experiments were carried out. For calculations, a hybrid cluster calculator HybriLIT was used, located in the laboratory of information technologies of JINR in Dubna
