We consider the modeling of grain boundaries and of a body by creation in the sample hard frame by welds. Research of influence of the "rigid" frame as a welded seam (grain boundaries) on the deformation of the "soft" matrices (grain body) of the polycrystalline material at low temperatures is carried out. Experimental verification of the proposed model is made in bending of specimens in the elastic region of deformation of the material at low temperatures. It is shown that the "hard" frame of grain boundaries can really create overstressed areas in metal structures at low temperatures due to the difference of thermal expansion coefficient of the grain boundaries and grain body.
