The article describes the multidimensional content and features of the digital economy, as well as its main directions in the process of modernization of the national economy. Several main characteristics of the digital economy are identified, which are recognized by almost all researchers of its phenomenon. New technological solutions of the fourth industrial revolution are considered. Taking into account the peculiarity and necessity of digital transformation of production and economic activities, the examples of a number of domestic companies that have already begun to develop and implement innovative strategies are given. The structure of production-related projects implemented at Russian enterprises using digital technologies is presented. The necessity of forming functional strategies of modern organizations taking into account new technological solutions of the fourth industrial revolution is proved. The main directions of the influence of the digital economy on production, investment, financial, personnel and marketing strategies in the context of the intellectual component are determined. The vector of influence of the features of the digital economy on the functional strategies of the organization is presented. Their innovative content will allow modern companies to ensure commercial success in the face of increasing competition in the dynamically developing markets of goods, services and intellectual products, as well as to obtain a synergistic effect in the future.
