Modernization and innovative development through the eyes of the state and business

The article presents the perspective of representatives of government agencies and companies belonging to big business, the modernization and the innovative development of Russian economy. Examined some aspects of relations between the state and business, the proposals are given on how to improve innovation processes in the Russian economy with the direct involvement of the state. The author concludes that, based on the experience of developed countries, one of the conditions for effective modernization of the economy by increasing innovation process is a consensus of views on the processes of modernization and innovation development between government and business.
