Modernization as a basis for increasing the competitiveness of agricultural industry of the region

One of the main conditions for the stable functioning of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Bashkortostan is the modernization of the agro-industrial complex, its industries and enterprises, creating favorable conditions for increasing their competitiveness. For this, it becomes necessary to adopt a strategy for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region on the basis of modernization, which would become a key factor in positive changes in the economic system of the agricultural sector, the transfer of its economic entities to a high-tech industrial basis with progressive principles and management methods, as well as a source of improving organizational and economic mechanisms of effective functioning of all branches and enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Also, one of the options for solving the above tasks would be the adoption of an appropriate modernization plan with step-by-step detailing, including the implementation of large investment projects. In general, systematic underfunding and uneven investment of enterprises in the agro-industrial complex of the region lead to negative destructive consequences in attempts to build specific economic and investment models of structural transformation. The study revealed that the reason for the low rate of investment in the modernization of agricultural enterprises in the region was some contradictions, the solution of which requires the development of specific approaches for the strategy of modernization of the agro-industrial complex, based on state support of agricultural enterprises of all forms of ownership. It also provides a diagram of the modernization plan for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Bashkortostan for 2021-2025.
