The modernisation of chemical fertilisers industry

The authors see a need to modernise the Russian chemical fertilisers industry since Russia is losing the competitive edge it has had. The conclusion is made on the basis of competitiveness assessment of the Russian manufacturers on the global market of chemical fertilisers, of finding their strengths and weaknesses according to the results of SWOT-analysis and the strategies of sustainable development of the most crucial industries in the field.
