Modernization potential of the regional development and small business management mechanisms (by case study of Central Black Earth region)

The article is devoted to the topical problem of small business development in Russian regions. The authors analyze survey results of the small business representatives in Kursk, Voronezh and Belgorod regions in 2016 and statistical data and field research. They come to a conclusion about the ability of small businesses to participate in the country's modernization and the necessity of the government support for small businesses, taking into account the uneven development in Russian regions.
