Modification of the method of atomic absorption analysis of small amounts of silver in mineral raw materials

Бесплатный доступ

The method of atomic absorption determination of low silver contents in mineral raw materials by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy has been modified. To decompose the samples and transfer silver into solution, the samples were first treated with hydrofluoric acid, and then with a mixture of nitric and hydrochloric acids in a ratio of 1:3. At the final stage of sample preparation, when converting salts to chlorides, incomplete extraction of silver occurs, its losses reach 56%. Minimal losses are observed when salts are dissolved with nitric acid.
