The regulatory peptides modulating the contractile activity of lymphatic vessels

Бесплатный доступ

The peptide regulation of the contractile activity of lymphatic vessels of the rat's mesentery in vivo has been researched. Several dozens of representatives of the various peptide groups and their derivatives have been studied. It is shown that the peptides modulate the contractile activity of the lymphatic vessels with varying degree of effectiveness stimulating or inhibiting the frequency and amplitude of contractions. It depends on the current concentration. Many peptides are active at the very low concentrations of 10 -16 M or less.
