"Praying about horses" as reflection of syncreticity of faiths and rites of Mordva in the end of the XIX - the beginning of the XX centuries

The article is devoted to the problem of identification of Holy images in the icon. Using the materials of the Museum of Religious Studies under the Mordovian State University the avithor shows me specificity of image perception, conditioned by the process of syncreticity of the Mordva faiths in the end of the XIX - the beginning of the XX centuries.
