The article is devoted to changes in the state youth policy of the USSR in "haw"period of 1953-1964 and their influence on the youth of the Khabarovsk Territory. The author compares AllUnion and regional tendencies for the interaction between authorities and young generation. The research is based upon archive materials from the Russian State Archive of the Newest History, The Russian State Archive of Social and Political History and The State Archive of the Khabarovsk Territory and The Khabarovsk Territorial Museum of Regional Studies Archive.
