The article deals with the ethnic attitudes and institutional portraits and self-portraits, which are formed in the contemporary Russian youth society. The author considers the institutional attitudes, which are transforming nowadays. Based on the data of three researches (years 2010, 2012, 2014) the author analyzes in details the changes in the youth’s identity attitudes and self-identities in a multiethnic territory of the Russian Federation - the Republic of Bashkortostan.
