Youth unemployment as a threat to the economic security of the state

Unemployment among young people is studied as one of the most serious social and economic problems of modern society. The causes of degradation of the younger generation in the modern world are analyzed. The state of unemployment among young people was assessed.The object of the study is the problem of employment of young professionals, and the subject-the solution of the problem. Revealed a discrepancy between the desired and in-demand professions in the labor market. The degree of variation in the number of unemployed in the Republic of Kalmykia for 2006-2016 years. The basic prerequisites of low competitiveness of the young generation in the labor market are studied. The ways to reduce the level of youth unemployment are considered.
