The youth factor socio-economic development of the Russian metropolis

The article describes the position of the Ekaterinburg’s youth about the perspectives of the city’s development and also about the problems existing in the megapolis. The authors present how young people appreciate their own influence on the socio-economic situation in the city. The researchers also indicate the spheres of the Ekaterinburg’s life, in the development of which young people, according their own viewpoint, can participate effectively.
