Youth travel in the pandemic of COVID-19

COVID-19 has had a negative impact on the whole world, including youth travel. Restrictions on movement, a decrease in the income of young people, combined with fears and stresses, put a risk the development of youth tourism and, accordingly, the possibilities for the socio-economic development of tourist destinations. That is why it is important to timely study the impact of the pandemic on the consumer behavior of young people in order to immediately respond to changes. The article provides an overview of global reseaches on the impact of COVID-19 on youth and UNWTO youth travel recovery recommendations.
