The monarchial idea of the Russian emigration (on the problem of development of free conservatism in the XX century)

The article reveals continuity of the two periods in the development of Russian free conservative thought: pre revolutionary, which begins since the times of the French Revolution in the end of the XVIII century, manifested itself in the works of N.M. Karamzin, A.S. Pushkin, their followers, and post revolutionary, developed since 1917 primarily in the forced emigration. The author examines the views of I.A. Ilyin, P.B. Struve, A.V. Kartashev, L.P. Karsavin.
