Monitoring of a personalized approach to taking valproic acid drugs in patients with focal epilepsy

Epilepsy is one of the most common neurological disorders of the brain, which is characterized by a predisposition to recurrent, unexpected and unpredictable epileptic seizures. It is manifested by neurobiological, cognitive, psychological and social changes. The definition of epilepsy requires the presence of at least one epileptic seizure. The prevalence of epilepsy in the population according to various data is 0.8%, and taking into account the child population, this figure reaches 2%. In Uzbekistan, the number of patients with epilepsy is 250 thousand.
