Monitoring of animal viral infection in Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic in 2014

During 1900 of blood serum samples of sheep and goats, 80 of blood serum samples of cattle, and 13 of samples of the pathological materials were collected in the course of epizootologic moni-toring of especially dangerous infectious diseases from regions of the Republic of Tajikistan. Bio-materials were tested for agents and antigens of peste des petits in ruminants (PDPR), sheep pox and chlamydiosis abortions. In the course of re-searches of 13 samples, in 10 samples PDPR virus by polymerase chain reaction (PCR was detected), in 8 samples in enzyme-linked immunosorbent as-say (ELISA) and in 3 samples in reaction diffusion precipitation (RDP) were detected antigens of PDPR virus. At the same time in 2 samples agent causing abortions in sheep were detected and for sheep pox the results were negative. As a result of this research, antibodies for PDPR virus were de-tected from blood serum of sheep and goats col-lected from regions and cities of the Republic of Tajikistan. Directly selected samples from dead animals on the territory of the Republic of Kyrgyz-stan were tested for infectious diseases of animals such as PDPR, sheep pox, pasteurellosis and clostridiosis with using ELISA and RDP. In the course of researches of 25 samples, in 13 samples antigen of PDPR virus was detected. Later organ-tissue materials in 5 samples were tested on pres-ence of agents and antigens of PDPR with using PCR; ELISA RDP and complement-fixation reaction.It was demonstrated that the reason of diseases and animals mortality (sheep and goats) in Narynsky territory of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan was PDPR virus. With using indirect ELISA in all tested blood serum of animals antibodies for PDPR virus with activity 1:1600-1:6400 were detected.
