Monitoring of cultural heritage using the tools of earth remote sensing

The article describes the possibilities that are provided by remote sensing devises of the Earth, that were made for monitoring the state of cultural heritage sites. The article puts forward proposals for improving the system of state protection of historical and cultural monuments by introducing into the work of the Automated Information System "Unified State Register of Cultural Heritage Objects" an automated system for recording changes in the state of monuments in space imagery.
