Monitoring of graduates’ employment in the system of assessment of higher school’s performance

The article discusses the results of sociological monitoring of employment of Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management graduates, which allows to assess the effectiveness of the higher school’s performance. The authors present and analyze the data on the employment of graduates in general and according to particular fields of specialization / areas, level of wages, main channels providing information on vacancies for professionals in the labor market, job search duration, factors and problems of graduates’ employment, assistance of job placement by the university. It is concluded that the monitoring results may be implemented in the adjustment of managerial decisions and the improvement of educational activities of the university.
