Single-industry towns in Russia: problems and development perspectivies

Reviewed international and domestic experience in the development and implementation of strategies of development of monotowns. The classification of single-industry towns is presented. Identified problems of development of monotowns and their solutions. Revealed the current status of single-industry towns on the example of formations of the Irkutsk region.
