Morphological characteristic of the vein valves on the separate parts of the thoracic and pelviс extremities of the reindeer

The author estimates the form, the number and the character of distribution of the vein valves of the thoracic and pelvic extremities of the reindeer in the connection with veins topography and functioning of individual section of the extremities. It was shown, that the most parts of valves are concentrated in the main veins (48,4 %), in the pes veins (59,9 %), then in the antibrachium veins (27,9 %), in the crus veins (29,9 %), in the brachium veins (14,5 %) and in the femur veins (9,4 %). The thoracic girdle veins (9,2 %) and pelvic girdle veins (0,8 %) have the least amount of valves.
