The changes in functional activity of energy producing system in the myocardium, liver and kidneys in the form of low energy shift (activation of endogenous succinate oxidation system and inhibition of NAD-dependent component of breath chain) due to general vibration were companied with significant morphological signs in the myocardium, liver and kidneys tissues. Only the myocardium was high sensitive to general vibration. The dystrophy of cardiomyocytes, reduction of capillary net, arteriol spasm, oedema of intercellular and interbundle zones, enlarge of petechias and necrosis zones, depended on the regimen (frequency and duration) of vibration was typical for the heart tissue. Succinate (8.4 mg/kg) administered exogenously was shown to protect the heart, liver and kidneys against vibration.
