Morphological properties of the wounds of the skin, caused by hand saws, depending on its construction, multiplicity and the directions of actions

-he expert operation of the damages with sharp items to date remains to be actual for judicial-medical science and practice. To date scientific studies, devoted to sawed damages of the skin, are few and performed basically to 70-th years of the past century. The known morphological characteristics of the damages, caused by handsaws (the hacksaw for metal, carpenter saws) allow to judge about aspectual and general characteristics of sawing iitems, not allowing to conduct intragroup diagnostics of traumatic instruments, making touble to determine the conditions of trace formation, particularly of skin damages. The authors have carried out experimental modeling of the sawed skin damages. The study of the experimental damages results in stating the particularities of location of morphological elements, allowing when undertaking judicial medical expert operations on sawed wound to determine the height and the form of the saw blade teeth, type of their separation, multiplication factor and directions of sawing impact.
